My name is Ridge Bonnick. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and came to the U.S. before I turned one. I’ve been living in Florida since I was about seven, but my connection to creativity started long before that.

I’ve always been a hands-on person—whether it was solving math problems with my older siblings, helping build computers, or figuring things out through doing. I don’t think I became an artist—I’ve always been one in some form. I remember taking a sculpting clay class back in first grade, and that’s one of the first moments I felt locked in with something that made sense to me. Honestly, I think sculpting is still something I want to give a lot more of my time to.

I studied Civil Engineering and Architecture at Lyman High School, which added structure to the creative mindset I already had. Since then, I’ve become a self-taught multidisciplinary artist—working across everything from luxury finishes and epoxy flooring to murals, sculpture, and experimental pieces. I’m still learning, still evolving, and everything on this site reflects that journey.

Beyond the art itself, I believe in art therapy—in the idea that creativity has power. It brings people together, opens up space for healing, and helps us reconnect with parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten or buried. Whether I’m painting a wall, face-painting at a kids’ event, or sculpting something that lives in its own world, my mission is to make art feel alive and meaningful—for myself and for the people who experience it.

I’ll be starting a YouTube channel soon to share more of that process and purpose. There’s more coming—and I appreciate you being here to witness it.
